Re: Where is the earth connection on the front left cross beam??

Tis a good plan, but I still need to find the correct wire, and to begin cutting up wires beneath the dash is way over my head and potentially a van killer

The Haynes diagram labels the wire li/sw yet the key doesnt explain what colours they are meant to be :S

Where is the earth connection on the front left cross beam??

Hi, Got a fuel gauge issue and have been advised to check the earth connection on the front left cross member. Ive had a look under there but I cant see any obviuous wires or earthing points. Is it tucked away somewhere? Can anyone draw a diagram / pic, as the haynes manual simply tells me its there...

Replacement automatic choke for a Solex 34 PDSIT carb

Hi,

The bi metallic strip in my offside Solex has disintegrated.

I have seen carb rebuild kits but they seem to be comprised of jets and gaskets

Is there anywhere I can get a replacement (even the entire auto choke assembly if needs be)?

Your help is appreciated

No Grille.... Kinda like it

Been driving around without a grille due to some rollering im doing at the moment.

I have to admit, I quite like the look of it (and I dont need it as its Aircooled)

Anyone here done anything creative with the gap / space. Im thinking of putting something else there instead.
