Youre right, they're f.o.r.d engines and gearbox casings. Brake pads were interchangeable with loads of other cars back in those days!

Didn't the Reliant Scimitar have F0rd Cortina running gear ? I'll bet they were F0rd wheel hub assemblies. 100% certainly not weight rated for a camper. I just discovered my cable tucked up behind the dash, predictably broken. An inspection at the pump showed that I've been driving for 7 months with the cold start valve almost fully on - a couple of minutes spent wiring it into the closed position has improved starting enormously, and hopefully will...

It's the 240v transformer that's AC - it transforms to 12v DC. LEDs only work on direct current, as far as I know.
