Re: Eberspacher Assistance UPDATE

If you could see smoke somethings definitely wrong, It' a sealed unit cold air goes in one pipe and exhaust comes out of another. The heat is produced by air being blown over the heat exchanger. Was this smoke being blown out of the heater vent? When they have been left dormant for a coupke of years...

Re: Eberspacher Assistance UPDATE

Managed to find an Eberspacher repair place in Newark and following the initial phone call and without inspection, it could just need a good service or I think they said 'DE-COAT'???

I know its not been done for a while so fingers crossed. Will update when found out more.

Re: LPG Tank

As far as I know there are two different types of tanks - liquid take off for the running of engines and gas take off for domestic use. So it all depends on which sort of tank you have. This is what i needed to know thanks. It was designed for running the engine and therefore will be no good. Thanks

Re: Have I got an Eber?

Hi All, I wonder if you can help. I recently got a '82 1.6 Diesel which has been imported from Germany. LPG Tank

A friend of mine was going to put a LPG tank on his van but it was too large. It was bought with the intention of running his Syncro on LPG.

My question is, would this LPG tank be ok to fit to my van and use as a feed for the Fridge/cooker etc? Or do i need a specific LPG tank?

Eberspacher Assistance

Update,

Just put the exhaust on and all looked well.....Until I looked in the cab and could see smoke!!!!!!! :pimp

Does this mean the heat exchanger is slightly broken (F%$KED?)

Is there anything else I can do or do I need to find a new Heat Exchanger?

I only bought it in July, Did not even realise I had a heater until I went under the van today and saw it there waiting to be tested.
