Re: RM212 Fridge - No Spark after removal

Hi I have a 212 fridge with a rocker switch for igniter, in my Komet. The electric spark packed up a couple of years ago. I have been living with it working on mains. I would however like to get it working. Is there anything I can do without taking fridge out? If not how easy is it to take out? Chee...

Re: Which side is the battery??? Quick, stupid question :)

Hi

Thanks Bob for posting video showing how to remove seat, to gain access to battery.

I had never worked that out, and have been unbolting seat from turntable to get it out.

Now it is so easy........what a muppet.

Cheers.

Re: Removing revolving seat

Hi

I have to remove seat as steering wheel stops me turning through 180'.

If it is welded on, then I shall have to think of a "Plan B".

I will have to have a drink and give it some thought....... :)

Cheers

I do not use the tuntable on the drivers side, so it would be great it I could get rid of it. Has anyone removed the turntable, and re-attached the seat s...

Hi We use this site alot (it is open all year). There is a good bus service into town(number 1 or 7). It is a 10 min walk to the stop. One good thing is that the number 7 is a 24 hr service, every 30mins at night. It runs from Whitehawk (the local area) right through to Hove Town Hall. Great if you ...

Starter Bush Removal

Hi

I have what seems to be described a "lazy starter". Looking at other posts and wiki I suspect that the bush needs to be replaced. How easy is it to remove and refit.

Screen Washer Prob

Hi My front screen washer has decided to "go west". Re previous posts I have checked the contacts on the rhs stalk. I think they are ok, as the wipers work ok when I pull switch towards me. From what I can see this is the same feed as the washer pump. Is this right, or am I leading myself ...

Re Elite

Hi

Well that seemed to open up a can of worms. There seem to be satisfied people here. I think it will be a case of popping over to them and having a "chat".

Elite vw ................views please

Hi

I am thinking about getting a recon engine for my Komet. Elsewhere in the forums I have seen that Elite VW in Essex have been recommended. Has anyone dealt with them? In a respose to an email, they tell me that running on LPG does not effect their warrenty which is good news

Cheers

Hi Just replaced secondary battery as old one shot. Whilst checking got 12.6v on secondary batt. 12.8v on main batt. Ran engine. 13.7v on main batt, but still 12.6v on secondary batt. Hooked up to mains via zig unit. Got 13.3v on secondary batt. The blue relay by the main batt is operating. Is this ...
