help please guys getting aloud rubbing/grinding noise when i release the clutch under strain any ideas ,this is from my 2.0 Aircooled p.s might have overfilled oil slightly dont know if this would affect it cheers

cheers guys,got the old gaskets to use as stencils anyway so prob go with thickish paper and gasket sealant

some advice please,found an air leak on the inlet manifold and having a few probs sourcing new gaskets,could i use a paper gasket or is this not an option

yep,steep learning curve, but loved every minute of it,have to get used to it to keep these babies on the road.i find 2 hours working on the van and 1 on the beer works well

just a note of thanks to all the guys and gals out there who contribute to this forum and give people like me the confidence to have a go.i'm no mechanic but had stalling and running problems[pierburg 2e3] so stripped it down,cleaned it,regasket ,fired her up,perfect,couldnt have dun it without this...
