Re: Cheapest ferry prices
We save our Tesco clubcard vouchers and then cash them in for Eurotunnel (1/3rd the price of a normal booking). As long as you book far enough in advance or avoid the peak times, there should be a high vehicle space available, but I think they charge about £10 for taking a campervan rather than a hi...

Re: M6 Toll - avoid!
1.3m high above the front wheels. Which isn't very high at all. It's measured automatically. Curious though. Im looking at vauxhalls transhite equivalent van which has a height of less than 1.30 at the front axle. So it seems to some extent this is desided on the design of individual vans, and is l...

Re: Fuse Box Help T25
Thats real bad news Matt, sorry about that, I guess fitting that alarm was worth the money after all. Was it an attemted theft of vehicle? or just the stereo they wanted? Hope you are all ok other than this sorry episode. Regards Mark and Helen. It was just the stereo they were after, we think. Thr...

Fuse Box Help T25
:( Last night, our T25 was broken into and the stereo stolen :( One of the other nice things that they did was to rip out all the fuses to try and stop the alarm going off - didn't work, but still. So, now I have a completely empty fuse box and a load of fuses - hopefully I have all of them, but we'...

Re: European Breakdown Cover?
I've just asked this question on another thread because I didn't search before posting! I'll remember that next time :D We've just bought a van so I am looking for insurance at the moment and was asking whether it would be better to go for one with European Breakdown cover included or not. From the ...

Re: 2week family holiday itinery?
Hi, france sounds good. Do you have to book in advance though - or is there plenty of availability in peak summer? Meant to add - we've just come back from a holiday in France (not camping) but the little towns that we drove through in Burgundy seemed to have places where you can empty any waste ou...

Re: 2week family holiday itinery?
Hi, I am planning my first long break in my new devon T25. I have 2 weeks at the end of august, and 3 young children ranging from 1-4yrs. Without appearing to be too lazy does anyone have a good itinery I could use? I am hoping to go to France or Scotland. I have looked on a website I found on here...
