hi jed got back from there a few weeks ago.lake bled is reaaly nice and theres a good campsite half way round the lake about 1 min walk from the shore . about 20 euros a night if i remember correctly. beer is cheap wine is cheaper and food very cheap. people very friendly and pretty much all of them...

hi, stay in amsterdam quite a bit and have used zeeburg and vliegenbos and for me camping vliegenbos is the better of the two. stayed there over easter and it cost us 28 euros per night inc. hook up showers etc (some inc. zeeburg charge for showers) very good well set up site and about a 10 min walk...

cheers for the quick reply lee.i think it may be an easier option to try and get a decent 2nd hand one and leave it as a petrol bus. going to afghanistan in a couple of months so don't really have the time for a long project only i dont want to let this bus go if i can help it as i can get it for 15...

hi all, currently carrying out some bodywork on my 1980 westy poptop and need to remove the sliding window from the sliding door.is there a special way to remove it? i.e is it fixed by screws etc. or is it just the usual method with a couple of screwdrivers and perseverence? any help as always great...
