I have sent them to Speedy Cables to have some new ones made, but thank you all who looked.
These Razor backs are very difficult to source parts for.

T4 Razorback
The company I work for has a VW T4 Razorback (cracking pick up) but it needs two new hand brake cables, they are not standard, as we have already tried this, they are 2800mm long, and can't find anywhere that sells them.

Re: Croyde camping suggestions please........
I agree with Cherry Tree, we had a brilliant time last year, and its almost like a VW meet anyway, as about half the site is VW, whether its beetles, splits, bays, T25's everything is there and only a short walk to either the beach or the village, there's a lovely pub called the Manor.

Re: TD5 Engine problem
Today my brother changed the oil (synthetic) and now he states that its worse than before, knocking like crazy, now I can understand the knocking, clearly the big end bearing have gone, but I can't understand how its worse than oil that's ruined and very thin. It now worries me that the turbo bearin...

TD5 Engine problem
I know this is a VW forum, but you have helped me before with my brothers Land Rover. Whilst out driving today, going up sutton bank (Yorkshire 1 in 3 ) it started to stutter under load, but got up anyway, drove fine for about 7 miles, then heard a knocking noise from the engine plus loads of smoke ...

Re: Lower on one side
The units are on the drivers side, I have just measured the rear and both side's are equal at 5" between the tyre and the arch, I have looked at the coil spring and it looks fine, but its rusty and it may be cracked, don't know.

Lower on one side
Whilst messing about in my garage today I looked at the van and it looked slightly lower on the left (Passenger side) so I measured it, and sure enough its 1" lower on the left, never noticed it before and whilst driving it I can't tell and it still drives fine. I visually checked everything an...

I've our's up to 85 mph, with a mix of laughter and nerves, last year came back from Devon to Leeds at between 70 -75 on one tank of fuel, but mostly do around 65-70 on motorways unless its windy, then go slower.

Re: What's the best caravan
I have had a look at Hobby's but have been told that because our travelling friends like them so much, there are more likely to be nicked, so much so, that insurance companies wont touch em. Anyway having done some research on the Bessacarr, I am going to purchase this one, not new but a 2003 model,...

Re: What's the best caravan
We can't have a static van as its not in keeping with the park, and it is very tranquil and quiet in the middle of a forest.

What's the best caravan
I know some might see the title and ask "what the ****" But this is a genuine ask, as I have never had a caravan before, and before anyone ask's "no we're not selling the T25, and converting to the dark side" but we have the opportunity to work and live on a campsite, where they ...

Smoky on start up
I have a 1900 watercooled engine, which on start up always smokes a bit, not blue or white, just a bit grey but goes away after a few minuets, plus when going down hill and holding it back on the gear's, when I get to the bottom and accelerate there's a plume of blue smoke, but no effect on overall ...
