I had similar issues with my 1.9 GW, trouble is there are so many potential causes that it's a matter of elimination....after going through the usual culprits as you've mentioned, fuel lines, filters, pumps, vaccum hosese, ignition system etc etc....I took it to Phil Davies in Stonehouse, Plymouth. ...

I fitted an nlavw bunk a week ago, i was a bit dubious as to how comfy it would be, but the two wee yins (6 & 4) were fighting over it to sleep in it, both found it very comfy and the extra width over the other variety is definitely the way to go. I would not expect the holes to cause any weaken...

I replaced mine 5 days ago, the day before going on hols, not the best timing....but if you take your time it's not a difficult job. The best advice i'd give is soak all the nuts and bolts in WD40 or silicone lubricant for at least a day before you start the job, keep them wet with the lube and hope...
