Acting on this information I discovered that the gear guides under the gear stick in the box thingy are well worn (only half there on one) and all the bushes are really worn also and e...

hi,
I had a simular problem to this and it turned out to be the connector from the wires to the printed cicuit board. Try reaching under the dash and push the plastic connecter to the circit connector It worked on mine.

small cracks in head(not mine, the engine's)

Hi everyone, just a question about a 1.9 dg engine really. I just got a (spare) engine to rebuild for our camper only £25 from fleabay. Today we stripped it down and found that it is in excellent condition apart from a crack on each head between the valves( 2 per head), these cracks have not gone in...

I had this problem after changing the little lights for the insterment panel, the red water light came on if you turned the lights on the red light went out. I had the same problem

I had the same problem  we changed the fan senser on the radiator which made the fan work but the temp gauge was still high in the end we resorted to the haynes book of lies, after it was suggested that it could be an air lock in the rad. bleeding the rad is akin to bleeding one at home (excep...

I used to do this for a living and I would say that a little heat (hairdrier) or if your really brave a heat gun ( not recomended if you havn't done this before) is best for removing old vinyl. if any of the glue is left then lighter fluid (lighter petrol) is the best for removing this. good luck :D
