after a week of leaving the fridge on and making copious cups of tea the gauge still read 95% - until i tapped it with a spanner and it went down to 80%. Job done! the only thing i dont understand is that it says in the handbook there is a safety valve not allowing it to fill over 80% anyway.... sti...

emptying the LPG

well, getting it down to the level that i can go through the chunnel. currently at 95% (helpful man at pump filled it too full) and need to get down to 80% for a weeks time. other than boiling a load of kettles, any ideas?

what does this do?

it is by the steering column. it looks like a choke but my van is a westfalia turbo diesel. havent tried it with the engine on but cant see any wire moving when i push it in or out. as far as i can tell it goes towards the rear of the van.

as i suspected - looks neat and tidy though. I guess i will stick to the £10 gazebo for this summer and see how it goes.

anyone had any experience of one of these? I know it looks flimsy but the views on the internet say they are no worse or better than other wind out awnings.

thanks Camperfan - i found that one too which led me to the 1975 date - surely i cant have a 1975 T25! i will take a visit to a vw dealership as i understand that they can get the colour from the chassis number.
