jx oil pressure switch
Hi can anyone help with my oil pressure switch!. The one on the bus is rated at 0.45 bar and is light brown in colour, i can't seem to find one anywhere, tried brickwerks, dont seem to have that rating, will a different rating be ok, ie a 0.3 bar, would prefer correct one though if anyone knows?. ch...

Coming to the conclusion that (as aiden is saying) keeping it stock simple is the best way, asked a few questions about wheel/tyre increasing and although good suggestions, might stick with originals and change the way we travel, ie maybe 500miles a day for 2 days in 1 week + 500 in between is askin...

Hi, thanks for the ideas, some interesting stuff, its running standard (good) 1.6 td jx, 5 speed, trouble i have is, dont want to go down the low pro tyre route due to various tracks driven whilst camping in scotland etc, so need a good height sidewall(a show bus it aint). just wanna know what wheel...

hi, need to start looking at a set of wheels to fit to a standard 2wd bus, i think we need a tyre size of 205 or 195 70 15, to gain a slightly larger rolling diameter over the 185/14, so need a set of 15" wheels(pref. steels) have gone through the archive and guess the best bet for ease is merc...

thanks for the info guys, have contacted aiden about the box etc, need to have a think about all this for a bit, but may consider the wheel change to try it out first, tho dont want lo pro tyres due to occasional off tarmac camping trips so will look into this side of things.

hi, have a few questions about our '90 5 speed jx van, its running standard set up at the moment, however due to long motorway periods(will cover 500miles a day to scotland etc) would like an extra 5-10mph without sacrificing fuel economy or the engine(averaging approx 55-60mph). 5 speed gearbox
hi, could anyone tell me the best place to either buy a new/recon 5 speed box or get mine rebuilt properly,diff bearing on the way out, main box seems good, its a 1990 mated to 1.6td jx engine, any advice would be appreciated as these seem impossible to get hold of, or is it just me! cheers.

hi guys, we have a standard 2wheel drive van derived camper, does anybody know about raising!, we need a bit more ground clearance at the rear(front is fine)are there heavy duty springs/shocks available, its 1.6td if that makes a difference. cheers
