It looks like you got a positive and earth on both connectors, have you got a leisure battery?

Have you checked that there is a spark coming through all ht leads? These can easily be damaged if there a little old when replacing spark plugs.I can remember doing a service on me polo a few years back and manged to pull the lead out of socket end, oops.

Do the right thing, while your getting the brake pipes replaced have them install goodridge braided brake hoses! Trust me you will notice the difference and it won't be that much more work as their replacing aload of brake pipes anyway. You can get the goodridges from brickwerks for just over 40squi...

Don't know what there like but I know when I heard my first car, a beautiful mk3 fiesta... the general consensus was that they were noisy because an indention use to wear into the tappets. Obviously when using a feeler gauge to measure the gap this cannot be accounted for. I don't know if it is the ...

Do you get a click from the starter solinoid when you turn the key? If not it could be the the conection on the starter solinoid on the way out. Sorry to hijack but I have a similar problem, i do hear a click but get no turning over then i could try it straight away afterwards and she goes no probl...

Good year braideds are good spec, I know alot of people that swear by them on vw and non vws a like. Just finally got my set fitted on me polo and there is a noticeable firmness to the brakes now, in comparison to before. Best think to do about the pipes is got to your local trustworthy mechanic and...
