Just a quick update. I went ahead and dismantled the carb and replaced all the parts in the Brickwerks rebuid kit. Generous spray through with a can of carb cleaner. It literally won't pull away. Just stalls even if revved. Idles fine though...

If you do decide to take it to a mechanic have a think about providing them with a rebuild kit from brickwerks to do thejob properly You cant just buy gaskets from the local motor factor and so if they damage the main gasket they will likely bodge it back or worse tell you its knackered as you so o...

Its not happy
Following getting as low on fuel as is possible without running out my van is not at all happy. Starts ok, revs ok but as soon as any load is applied it dies....any suggestions on where to start would be much appreciated. Fuel filter? Thanks
