Re: gearsticks
Thankyou for your replies, I'm a bit of a keen welder so it looks like the best plan will be to stick it back together.

gearsticks
Hi,
I've just snapped the gearstick on my van, so need to hunt out a replacement. It's a 1990 1.9 petrol 5 speed, is there any difference between the 4 and 5 speed sticks or are they all the same? also anybody got one in the cambridge area?

Re: clicking relay
right, I've had a look today and it seems to be relay 19, I pulled it out and the engine kept running ok. So what is this relay for?
Also is the clock and the stereo on the same fuse? both have stopped working at the same time. Anybody know what fuse number they would be?
thanks

clicking relay
hi there, I had a 1.9 DG in the back of my T25, I bought it with a dead engine that barely ran (although it had only been recently fitted then discovered to be junk). When it did fire up a bit there was a constant clicking from the fuse box that clicked in time to the spark, so when you revved up th...

Re: 1.9 to 2.1
Well I had a free afternoon today so I done the majority of the work, 1.9 out and the 2.1 is now in and running :D I've still got the 2.1 exhaust on for now, and it needs a good service but it does seem to work. Once the rest of the bits are on I will be having it set up on the rollers. I'll let you...

Re: 1.9 to 2.1
thanks for the reply, the main reason for not using the Fi setup was just because I was trying to keep it as cheap and quick to do as possible. I'll have a look tomorrow and see if I can work out what engine/carb i have(is there an easy way to identify them?). I bought this van as a non-runner but m...

1.9 to 2.1
Hi I'm new to the site and it looks to be a wealth of useful information, I've been searching around here but I can't quite see a definative answer to my question. I have a 1.9 '88 watercooled t25 panel van with a dead engine, I guess it has a crack barrel or something. Anyway it seems that the simp...
