Re: Reliable Honest VW T25 Mechanic needed South East London

Ring Dave at Megabug in Plumbstead and ask him, they know if people are decnt or not. There are a couple of people round there. You could also have a look in the back of Volksworld mag as there are a couple of places like walhouse autos in erith. You could also try Kwik As motor engineers in limeho...

Pre dash out check? - Correct amp fuse? Fuse holder - clean tight connection? Short circuit? - Dr haynes he say - ''normally caused by a breakdown in wiring insulation which allows a feed wire to touch either another wire or an earthed component such as the bodyshell. A short circuit fault will nor...

Re: Heater fuse keeps tripping. can anybody help me with advice?

The motor Is almost certainly seizing (fairly common) and most on here just pull dash and fit a new motor or as I did, remove dash and spray some WD40 in there. I had the same problem until in got in there and cleaned things up. A new motor isn't that expensive. Available on ebay. Hey thanks for th...

tyre pressure.

HI Guys

Just picking some more brains. On the plate at the passenger door it lists 2 tyre pressures for the van. 1 i would presume is the reccomended psi and the other is reinforced pressure? Is there a correct pressure for the vans? I have a 2ltr autohomes kameo.

Thanks

tap tap

Hi all, looking for some info. Last Saturday i went for a spin in the can (a 1989 autohomes kameo) and the engine was making a right old tapping noise, tappets maybe. I was a bit worried but after about 15 minutes of driving the noise disappeared? Can anyone shed light on this? Thanks in advance Dave

Interior cupboard doors for Autohomes conversion?

Ola I have an Autohomes conversion (1989) and a few of the doors inside the van are a little tired. Is there anywhere, maybe autohomes themselves? where i could get my hands on some new doors that would be the same as the ones on the vans or is this a stupid question where you are all now on the flo...
