Re: Help, fuel consumption and wheel size!!
Thanks for the responses. Use GPS for the speedo/miles. Noticed a small difference with an oil change and has been mentioned that cleaning air filter would help. Might get it tuned but no idea who I would take it too in Brighton area!!

Re: Help fuel consumption and shud i change wheel size
Thanks for the reply.
Noticed a slight increase when I did a much needed oil change. Will look at air filter and tune. Gearbox is a five speed (panel van) and the engine is a engine shop reconditioned so you might be onto something, will look into it.
Thanks

Help fuel consumption and shud i change wheel size
Looking for some advise really. Got a 1.9 bigbore petrol panel van and am running 17" Porsche cup alloys 205/40 on front and 255/40 on rear. Just worked out my fuel consumption and it's 14.7mpg, which I am guessing is a bit steep, my wallet certainly seems to think so!! Saw some alloys on eBay ...

Re: petrol leak
Hi,
I have the same problem. The mechanic I used (now clinically depressed) dropped my tank and found the breather pipe was missing! Search everywhere for one about 6months ago and could find one. If you find one let me know.
Cheers,
Neil

Re: Paint Your Wagon - with a roller!
Can i throw a little bit of a curve ball here! Certainly don't wanna step on anyones toes because i think the rollering looks like it gets top results! Instead of rollering my van, its been vinyl wrapped in a Silver metallic flake vinyl by the bloke i bought the van off! The idea being the same as r...

AVO Suspension
I have AVO Suspension fitted in my van and wanted to stiffen the ride up a little because i do get the wheel catching on the arch if i go to fast over bumps or big holes! Does anyone know which way i need to turn the dial to stiffen/Loosen save me spending ages testing and retesting!!
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Help with alloy sizing
Thanks for all the help. Read on the "brick yard" that it is just about possible so have taken the plunge and ordered the wheels. Will keep you updated. If it doesn't work there will be a set of porsche alloys back on ebay soon! The sliding door already doesn't open and if i keep the curre...

Help with alloy sizing
Help! Am running remotec 16" alloys at the moment on my T25 panel with fronts at 225/50 and rears 245/55. Looks mean but want a slightly meaner look and am thinking of buying some porsche cup one alloys 17" with front tyres at 205/40 ET23 and rears 255/50 ET15. Trying to figure out if they...
