Thanks for the information, it is much appreciated. I've had another look at the fuse box. Unlike the diagram, there are only two relay blocks (?) fitted on the fuse box and none appear to be connected to the wiper fuse. I've taken a photograph of the layout - but alas my computer skills are the sam...

Much obliged.
I've got the Haynes manual on order - decided to bite the bullet and get one (my mechanical skills are below the stated one spanner level) - hope the x relay thing is in the index......

Wipers not working

Had an intermittent fault with the windscreen wipers but, alas, now they are not working at all. The fuses are all intact. I have changed the switch on the steering column - no joy. Cleaned the earth 'crowns' - no joy. Sprayed WD40 on all the wiring (this is about the limit of my electrics knowledge)...

Thanks for the info, I'll keep looking.
Somone did mention changing one of the windows for the perpex ones that are fitted to caravans. Has anyone any experience of doing this? good/bad idea?

Sliding Window for Devon Moonraker

With global warming my dogs are getting fried whenever we go out (us humans are alright since we are sitting up the front with the driver/passenger windows wound down). I've tried our local scrap yards but al...

Had a broken mirror glass on my motorbike and was advised to just get a piece of mirror glass cut to size at a glaziers/picture framers. I appreciate it is not convex like proper wing mirror glass but it was a lot cheaper and didn't seem to matter at the MOT.

Stripping spark plugs

Thanks people - just like the French Revolution, looks like the head is coming off! I want to hang onto the bus & don't want flying spark plugs.

Stripping spark plugs

Thought I was being smart in cleaning the spark plugs in my 2.0 litre air cooled, but alas I have stripped the thread on one of the spark plug ports. Is helicoiling the only answer? Do I need to take the engine apart or can it all be sorted insitu. Either way, am I alright to drive it to the place o...
