Rear window leak
So my rear side windows are leaking from somewhere around the vent and it's seal. I can't figure out from where, anyone got any experience with these and any pointers? I have a tube of windscreen P.U. sealant but not sure where to apply it and if it's even the solution I should be looking for? The w...

Re: Jed - Syncro spare wheel covers?
Yeah, the filled one will certainly do, kudos for keeping the original style. But I kinda like the outlined one from the T4 (but in correct font). Just asking before spending
215/75/15, might be stepping up to 225/75/15.

Nice!
Any chance that there will be a version with the logo outlined instead of filled?

Re: Does anyone do a Syncro calendar?
IG 16" does one each year, usually quite high quality and nicely designed. All members can send in images, and all members can then vote for which images should be in it. I would say however that a selection done but someone/a smaller group of people would be preferred to get a good variation a...

Re: Just parked on weighbridge, who said multivans are light!
2360 sounds heavy! I had my 14" on a weigh bridge couple of months ago. Came in at 1660kg (empty, no driver, ~half a tank of gas). That's a petrol tintop with 15" steelies. Interior at the time was GL rear seat, multivan b2b-seat and the rubber carpets throughout. Will try and put it on th...

Re: On the road, grinding noise diagnostics
Limped it home in the end, very gnarly sound came and went the whole way. Yesterday I started tearing it a part. Of course there is a rubbing mark on the skid plate from the fore exhaust pipe. Wasn't touching when I checked, guess it only touches when the engine moves around. Oh well, happy ending o...

Not great quality, doesn't sound as boxy in real life.
Best heard at around 0:05 and 0:10.

On the road, grinding noise diagnostics
So, i'm on the road some 600-650km's from home, and am having one of those "crap, what's that sound"-moments. Would appreciate some help if possible. I had this raspy grinding noise come and then disappear after a long motorway run before I went on this trip. Then drove here and didn't hea...

Re: A wolf in sheep's clothing !
so it isn't a standard country spec (like the headlamp washers for example). Were headlamp washers a requirement for swedish cars/vans ? That would explain why my swedish LT has it, but the austrian one doesn't. Was wondering about that. /M Yes, it was, along with mudflaps. The requirement for both...

Re: A wolf in sheep's clothing !
Yeah, it's quite common on swedish vans. Not all have it though, so it isn't a standard country spec (like the headlamp washers for example). Seems more common on late vans from what I have seen so far, but maybe theres someone on here with more info? Mine is the same, no code on the sticker but all...

Re: Tyres - what's best?
Also, if you could live with the wider tyres, I believe the AT2 grabbers are available in 225/70. As syncropaddy said, I tiny bit smaller and still good load rating.

Re: Tyres - what's best?
Hej Micke! I saw your syncro on 4x4sweden, looks good :) Nice to see another one on the west coast! Besides engine, final ratio is what really matters when deciding on tyre size. If you're at 3000rpm at 60mph, with the tyres you have on now, you most likely have the 4.57 ratio. At least a bit better...
