Guys i took the van to the garage and put shell v-power fuel in with the tappets rattling. Then drove up & down the m62 for over a hour and when i got home and listened to the engine..all was quiet....i now know that with having a wasserboxer motor and with it not being run for months the oil ob...

Square headlamp bulb replacement (how)
I am trying to change the main headlamp bulbs (they are NOT round lamps) they are the dual square lamps. So why oh why of why does the manual ONLY show round lamps. The manual says remove the lamp securing screws...yeh ok so why does the SQUARE Lamps only have adjusting screws...and NO securing scre...

I'm going to get the CV boot changed and have a look at the springs as they are H&R springs only fitted 3 years ago (so can only guess the red paint has come off)...order the parts tomorrow from JK or GSF.

MOT query for T25
Well i took the van for its MOT this morning only to be told that they couldn't test the van as the front suspension being lowered and the front spoiler wouldnt clear the ramp. And it sprung an oil leak...so it had to go to another Nationwide Auto Centre (as they had a flat ramp)...and hey presto it...

This evening i ran the engine on idle for 15/ 20 mins with no change..it still rattled...so this w/e its gonna be a engine flush, oil n filter change, !!! By all means change the oil and filter. take some time and read up on Hydraulic tappets. (wiki) But above all else...Take it out on the road man...

This evening i ran the engine on idle for 15/ 20 mins with no change..it still rattled...so this w/e its gonna be a engine flush, oil n filter change, some shell v power fuel, and then to see what happens then..if there's no change then i'll replace the hydraulic tappets..just hope this isn't the st...

I'm running 18s on my 88 Magnum by Oettinger. 225/40s up front and 245/40s on the back all with lowered springs slightly raked towards the front. I also fitted a set of Bilstein sport shocks on the front and have some spring adjust's to fit on the front to help with the bounce. No fowling of the arc...
