Re: Recommendations for large awning please

We're pleased with our Outwell Country Road from JK. Approx 3m x3m internally. Easy to erect and very snug whatever the weather with it's zip in ground sheet. We set up as a kitchen/dining room for four with plenty of space. There is an inner sleeping tent option.

Re: bay pop top

I doubt it will fit - at least not without modification. T25s have a wider and (I think) longer roof than a bay and flatter too. Even if modified it would look a bit odd sitting atop a t25.

Re: rear door lock

The rear lock is quite complex. The actuator slides a bar which moves an assembly that engages with the lock mechanism. Depending on the position of the key lock (horizontal or vertical) the boot will be permanently locked or only open when central locking is open. Per previous post you really need ...

Re: How to make a regular tent driveaway ?

Stef, We've just done this - with a Decathlon tent as well. We don't have a second door but the ends of the tent lift quite easily providing a large opening. The tabs for hanging the inner sleeping tents (which we will leave at home) provide a perfect tie back spot. Anyway, your question was about m...

Re: Stealth Mains Hook Up

Sorry for the delayed response - we've been away for a while.

In answer to Pocolow - the plug end of the cable is accessible from the engine oil/water access flap which (almost) closes quite neatly when the cable is in use.

Rustateers - nice van and thanks for the post.

Stealth Mains Hook Up

Completed my own mains install at the weekend and took photos to post in the hope it may help others. I was inspired by a T4 featured in VW Camper and Bus where the mains hook up was mounted behind the rear fog light as I am keen to keep my side panels free of holes/flaps etc. Mine is a Caravelle wi...

Re: Help, I want 3 3point seatbelts in rear

Do you really need a full camping interior? Why not cook outside/in an awning and have much more space in the van for the five of you? (and not have it smelling of breakfast!!) With no cupboards we have a full width RnR bed/rear seat that comfortably seats (and could sleep) three. I believe it's the...

Re: Water leak on t25 camper

I had a similar problem and discovered water was getting in through the bolt holes for the above-cab roof rack. It's a Westy-style moulded contraption that collects quite a lot of water. Since sorted by refitting with some rubber tap washers that are a snug fit round the bolts and drilling a couple ...
