thanks for the info. oops forget grommets.. yes precisely it is the Y piece connector/splitter which does come as a pair with the pipe inbetween. JK doesnt seem to have, nor volkspares and apparantly VW stopped too. ive tried everywhere! ..even half an hour in B&Q! megabug getting back to me so ...

1.9DG Fuel tank connectors - where from? No idea as to how, but that is what my fuel loss problem turned out to be - broken T piece connector bits that are on top of the tank and feed the two smaller tanks. not bad over there, even went to get the forklift and make things easier for me
reckon the early panel is is good condition with a complete engine, i wouldnt like to say about the later one. probably been right smashed by now but theyll have the engine.. (maybe!)

Two Buses in Bridges Breakers
One is a panel van with early DG other is a later DG but they were dismatelling it today when i was there.. theyll still have the bits tho..

Yep I have been having the problem and today found the connextion plug from the sender was the problem. somehow the wires inside were almost through! (maybe 20 years of hot/cold/hot/cold?) kind of the last thing id check really and certainly would have been after replacing the sender itself. Thanks ...

on my 1.9DG I have same prob - working LED but no gauge. Been over all the connections and all clean. Checked the resistance across the two pins given in T7 junction box (above pic) and nothing, no continuity either. now move to one pin across (ie moving the blue pin in the picture one lower) an it ...
