Hi and thanks for your reply. i put the glow plugs on a battery before they were fitted and replaced one of them. Have checked for power to the plugs but only with a light. Will get a meter on them. The cold start lever works ok.

Hi all First I must confess I have neglected my camper over the years. It’s been sat on the roadside slowly rusting away. I needed to use it late last year and a few miles down the road the pump belt came off and it overheated… badly badly. Had oil in the water but that cleared after a fair few fail...

Got my van from Tenby :) Didn’t get to see much outside the town but loved what I did see. Had the most amazing onion rings ever! Will deffo be going back for a longer visit.

I'm starting to think about security myself as my van is going to have to be parked on the road soon. The problem with these vans is they are more likely to be targeted by pro's so you need good security. Disc Locks (Discloc) are good as they cover the whole steering wheel and they are Thatcham rate...

Do the gas knobs (on the hob) push down as you turn them? I couldn't light my burners even though i had a small amount of gas left and it turned out i had to hold them down while lighting and then for a few seconds after.
