petrol to diesel engine swop
Thinking about swopping the cream- crackered 1.9 wbx petrol engine for a diesel aaz engine, what is involved exactly ? is it just fit diesel loom, mounting bars, instrument pod? would the entire loom and fuse box have to be changed? what about the cooling system and hoses after the aaz engine (which is complete with all flanges and hoses,) anything else? thanks for any advice

Re: petrol to diesel engine swop
Been a while since I did mine, so I may be a bit rusty.
You need basically everything from a diesel T25 engine bay (bar the AAZ itself), plus the bellhousing and flywheel. All the engine bay coolant system is different, but will join to your front to back hoses.
The engine wiring loom plugs in. your existing cluster can stay but you'll need to add a glow plug light separately. Revcounter won't work if you have one.
